DownBase is growing, I'm proud of the work that was put into it and overall proud of the traffic it managed to generate over a such small period of time.

We have reached over 50000 content view hits!!! Now thats a number :)

But to keep you happy and get even more people to downbase, I'll be making updates to DB soon. Due to some PHP coding projects, I've been busy for a while and have some more to do, but as soon as thats behind me, I'll put everything in my power to improve downbase.

What are plans for the future?

• Better ads targeting
• e-books categories needs some improvement
• Changes to the design
• VIP area (on top of the list)
• A final boost to the number of articles... I'm going to post about 100 posts per day <- I know I said to increase it before, I actually did, but due to less time I didn't manage to post more for you :S Not much people are actually posting stuff...
• Torrent function (not a real torrent tracker, just a module for people to download and see how many seeds/leeches are there for a certain torrent, without leaving DB)
• More will be added through time, please make suggestions

Unfortunately, DownBases hosting provider had a problem with the datacenter and 94% of data was recovered from that HDD and the luck wasn't on our side as we were in the 6% of lost data... So I had to restore 14 days old backups from my computer. Therefore, numerous articles were lost, some users were lost, also the style is a bit older...

But DB is back :) Try to think positive ;)

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this and hope for a better future of DB.

Also, over the next few days I'll fix: Template, add some more articles, I'll do everything in my power to get DB back on its feet.

I know I promised VIP area to be finished... but I think speed is our 1. priority... Afterwards I promise, VIP will be considered seriously.

DownBase has been upgraded to version 1.02 on 25.4.2009, also, we moved to a new, faster server.

• Banner image changed to a more pro-look :)
• Main menu line (under the banner) has been colored yellow, making site more alive and black+yellow is a killer combination anyway
